Recommended Trilogy – Mara Dyer

Today I decided to recommend a trilogy that I absolutely adore.  This is one of my favourite trilogies in the whole bookish world. Mara Dyer.

Lots of people shy away from Mara Dyer, because the last book in the trilogy focuses less on romance and more on the thrilling, dark side. This, however, I loved it because there is still an aspect of romance but in order for the book to actually make progress, there needed to be a darker spell.

Mara Dyer is the perfect blend of thriller, romance, and a dash of comedy.

·         The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (book one)

Average Rating; 4.10 Stars (Goodreads)

My Rating; 5 Stars

Goodreads description; Mara Dyer believes life can’t get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her strangely unharmed.
There is.
She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
She’s wrong.

  • The Evolution of Mara Dyer (book two)

Average Rating; 4.35 Stars (Goodreads)

My Rating; 5 Stars

Goodreads description; The truth about Mara Dyer’s dangerous and mysterious abilities continues to unravel in the New York Times bestselling sequel to the thrilling The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Mara Dyer once believed she could run from her past. She can’t. She used to think her problems were all in her head. They aren’t. She couldn’t imagine that after everything she’s been through, the boy she loves would still be keeping secrets. She’s wrong. In this gripping sequel to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, the truth evolves and choices prove deadly. What will become of Mara Dyer next?

·         The Retribution of Mara Dyer (book three)

Average Rating; 4.15 Stars (Goodreads)

My Rating; 5 Stars

Goodreads Description; Mara Dyer wants to believe there’s more to the lies she’s been told.
There is.
She doesn’t stop to think about where her quest for the truth might lead.
She should.
She never had to imagine how far she would go for vengeance.
She will now.
Loyalties are betrayed, guilt and innocence tangle, and fate and chance collide in this shocking conclusion to Mara Dyer’s story.
Retribution has arrived.

I honestly love these books and I hope you give them a try. If you already love them, you’re in luck, because in 2018, three new books are being released about Noah Shaw. I can’t wait.

Let me know in the comments down below if you have read these books and your thoughts, as well as your favourite trilogy.
